In July of 2006 I
participated in the second of Robert Viana's print exchange at the
comprehensive printmaking website he hosts at www.printmakers.info
. The site is a great venue for printmakers from all parts of the world
working in a variety of mediums - an asset to the printmaking community.

Print exchanges are a great way to motivate an artist and to collect fresh arwork from other printmakers. Print Zero Studios headed by Brain Lane and Jeremy Cody out of Laramie, Wyoming and Seattle, Washington is, in their words:
"It is an idea
of sharing printmaking with the world. This has manifested itself in
our print exchange. This will be a continuing effort on our part to
bring printmakers in contact with other artists work. "
In 2007 I participated in their fifth print exchange with 'Heart', a two plate linoleum cut and eraser cut print.

community. The theme was 'Aquatic' and a great range of images were supplied by the participants.
